Kate and Bryce Wedding April 2010

What a fantastic day! Kate and Bryce really new how to arrive in style.... and not one that i've seen before. With steam engines as the transport of the day the arrival of the couple could definitely be heard before it was seen. And just a perfect ending too, a decorated barn in a country setting. This wedding just lends itself to black and white photography, (with a few colour!), giving it that lovely traditional look.

Throughout the day...

And the happy couple...

Kids just wanna have fun

Back in the New Year i had great fun photographing William, Jessica and Oliver. I like to think i "hung out" with them for a couple of hours just capturing the fun they were having. They took to the camera quickly soon forgetting i was there and enabling me to shoot those all fun kiddy moments we like to look back and remember.

Anyhow here are my favourites:

Playing it cool...

And Will with his mum Joyce

Molly Mays' walk

Little 2 year old Molly May and her mum love to go for an evening walk along the lanes round their house. I was invited to photograph Molly during one of these walks. On a lovely november evening i followed Molly photographing her in a natural environment. You wouldn't have believed how warm it was for November and Molly was soon running along in bare feet - wellies off! As a children's photographer i feel some of the best moments can be captured when everyone is doing just as they usually do! The lanes in Staffordshire are perfect for that evening setting and nature provides a beautiful and varied studio, letting Molly have a great time whilst being photographed.

Here are my favourites from the children's photography shoot...

The little lady herself...

Bare feet in the sunset...

Looking cool with those glasses..

And watching the sun go down with her mummy...

Madi and Murphy

I recently had the pleasure of photographing newborn Madison, at her parents house in Staffordshire. I find photographing new babies in an environment the baby is used to creates natural images and usually mum and baby are more relaxed too! Just a few weeks old, Madison was a delight to photograph. Partway through the shoot, the family dog Murphy insisted he steal some of the limelight!

Here are some of my favourites:

Madison...

With her beautiful mum....

And of course not forgetting Murphy...

Little Stars

I thought having a little one would slow me down, but the 5 months following my son Rohan's birth has flown by. Every day Rohan can do something a little better than the day before and every day his face seems to change. Some days he looks like his dad some days he looks like me, some days he looks just like Rohan. Trying to capture little peoples quickly changing facial expressions and looks could be a full time job!!

Having Rohan has led me to meet lots of mums and new babies, all as cute as buttons and i had the pleasure of photographing two of them. My little models were just great and here are some of my favourite shots, Ophelia at 6 months and Erin at 3 months.

Ophelia....

And Erin....

And of course with the ones that love them the most...
